Gravity Multiplayer
A downloadable prototype for Windows and Linux
Gravity is a multiplayer fps prototype where you as the name suggests, have the abillity to alter gravity. The game is very simple and there are no teams or scores. You just respawn after being hit by paintballs 5 times. THE PROJECT IS DISCONTINUED, but the core game-mechanics will be reimplemented in another game.
This prototype is made with Godot Engine, Blender, Audacity, Cakewalk and Gimp.
When you start the game you get two options. You either Play, or Join a game.
If you choose to play a game, you create a server where you spawn in a randomly generated world.
To join other`s games just enter their server-IP, server-port and a username to identify you in-game. Usernames are not implemented per now. The game is made for LAN`s, but has been tested with hamachi and will probably work over the internet with port-forwarding too. (maybe ngrok too, havent tried...)
The main mechanic in this prototype is the ability to alter gravity up or down. When in a random world I hope it leads to interesting gameplay and a lot of fun.
### Important
Both the description and the game itself may change a lot since the project is a prototype. Expect bugs, and that is one of the reasons it is important to be mindful. Be careful with port-forwarding and sharing local networks...
Controls:
- WASD Move around
- Shift Run (if you are moving)
- Space Jump around / Swim up
- R Invert Gravity
- T Slow down (your) time 100 times, temp pause...
- CTRL Swim down (maybe crouch in the future)
- G Disable fancy graphics, enable VSYNC
- 1-9 Build with premade structures (not implemented properly yet)

Download
Install instructions
If you are downloading from your browser:
- Download the correct zip-file for your OS (Windows, Linux...)
- Unzip the archive to wherever you would like to
store the game
- Then run the executable from the folder you unzipped it into. (.exe for Windows)
If not, I recommend using the Itch.io App. It handles versioning, updates and launching better.

I wished I had searched earlier, because I just built the same concept on 2D for a jam, also with Godot, here.
I'll try yours when I'm near a PC again.
Looks like a fun game, maybe ill try it sometime…
It Is A Cool Game But If You Update It More I Would Play It More Thanks!
Thanks, I havent worked on it for a while. What kind of things would you like me to add to the game?
I will also eventually fix the “not implemented” stuff, such as building and clean up project code to make the game run better.
EDIT: The project is discontinued, but I have plans to reimplement core gameplay in a different project I’m working on.
